RPD looking for suspect in drive-by

Ruston Police Department is looking for a suspect that committed a drive-by shooting on Saturday at approximately 9:37 p.m. near Eastside Mini Mart.

According to an investigation, the 30-year-old victim was riding his bicycle near Clinton Circle going eastbound when a dark-colored vehicle pulled up beside him, and an occupant began shooting at him. The victim was able to make it to the store and call for help as the vehicle sped away. He was transported to Oschner LSU Health Center in Shreveport for treatment and is in stable condition.
