Ruston Fire’s New Wheels
Thursday, August 18, 2022
The Ruston Fire Department received its new pumper engine this week. The 2022 model custom-built heavy duty truck holds 750 gallons of water. The frontline truck will be in service by the end of month. The new truck replaces a 22-year-old vehicle that will now become a reserve truck. Firefighters participated in a blessing of the truck ceremony Tuesday during which RFD members touched the truck while being led in prayer by Chaplain George Lee.
