Scout gets bank grant for bike stand project

Thanks to a Pledge 10 grant from Jonesboro State Bank, Troop 45 Boy Scout Thomas Rogers and his troop mates were able to install two bike repair stands along the Rock Island Greenway in Ruston. Each stand includes an air pump, bike rack and tools to help with minor bike repairs. The project was part of Rogers’ bid to become an Eagle Scout. He is pictured at one of the stands with Thurston Allen (middle) and Grayson Allen (right), both from Jonesboro State Bank.
