Two male juveniles were in custody late Thursday afternoon, each charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder in connection with a shooting that took place Tuesday at Peachland Mobile Home Park.

The shooting was one of two back- toback incidents that occurred within a halfmile of each other.

Authorities are still looking for 18-year-old Donovan Hart, of Ruston, in connection with the second shooting that killed LaTonia Moore.

Moore was killed at her apartment on Greene Lane.

According to her Facebook page, she was a 2002 graduate of Ruston High School.

The shooting in which the juveniles are charged happened just before 1 p.m. Tuesday at Peachland Mobile Home Park. One man was injured in that incident but is expected to recover.

He was apparently sitting in his truck when he was shot, Lincoln Parish Sheriff Stephen Williams said.

A second potential victim wasn’t hit, Williams said.

The Greene Lane shooting, in which Hart is the suspect, happened about 20 minutes after the mobile home park incident. As of Thursday afternoon, investigators had not said whether the two shootings are related.

Detectives are requesting anyone with any information regarding Hart’s whereabouts to contact the LPSO at 251-5111 or CrimeStoppers.

CrimeStopper information can be given in several ways; either by calling 255-1111, text a tip to “TIP515 plus your message” to CRIMES (274637), or submit a tip online at www.rustonlincolncrimestoppers. com.

The LPSO said Hart should be considered armed and dangerous.
