After two days of no change, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lincoln Parish has jumped by eight and is now at 130, according to the daily Louisiana Department of Health update released at noon Thursday.
The new cases come on the heels of additional testing done around the parish over the past several weeks. All totaled, 1,701 tests have been administered to parish residents since the pandemic hit in March. That number is 415 tests since Tuesday.
The total number also includes retests done on COVID-19 patients during their illness.
