Allan Keith (Skip) Leachman
Allan Keith (Skip) Leachman was born April 2, 1959, in Ruston, to Billy Leachman and Sybil Farmer Leachman. He departed suddenly from this life on April 1,2022. He was a graduate of Ruston High School and attended Louisiana State University. He was the owner of Service Cleaners in Ruston and spent countless hours on his farm raising cattle and horses.
He married Angela Boone in August of 2010. They enjoyed traveling together and spending many hours on the farm. Skip enjoyed hunting, fishing, anything outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
Allan was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church Ruston where he worked with the RAs for many years. In his later years, he and his wife Angie attended Life Church in Ruston where they helped countless young adults from all walks of life.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Angie; sons, Michael and wife Angeline of Baton Rouge, Dusty and wife Jia of Kissimee, Florida, Robby and wife Abigail of Ruston; step daughters, Katie and husband Brett of Shreveport, Madison and husband Jacob of Hammond, and Abby of Sterlington. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Daniel and Claire Leachman, Adeline Leachman, and Nora and Ella Ussery. He is also survived by a sister, Tammy Coates of Ruston; two brothers-in-law, Scott Coates and Conway Boone both of Ruston.
