Mona Faye Jowers-Cayer

Mona Faye Jowers-Cayer was born March 24, 1937, and was called hone on April 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice Iru Warren and Forrest (Shorty) Warren; her husband of 49 years, Wayne (Jigger) Jowers; then her husband of 8 years, James Cayer.

Mona is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Donna and Paul Goodling, Kim and Michael Belue and Cindy and Vincent Cleary; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Mona Faye enjoyed living in The Arbor in Ruston since 2019.

She was a kind person who made the world a better place by encouraging and caring for all with whom she came in contact. She fiercely loved her family and friends.

We will all miss her.

On Saturday, April 30, 2022, Owens Memorial will host visitation at 11:30 a.m., with funeral to follow at 1 p.m. After the funeral, Mona Faye will be lain to rest in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun.
