Freighthouse Food Park groundbreaking

From right, Will Dearmon (Chamber President), Ronny Walker (Mayor of Ruston), Marla Emory (architect), Robert Brooks (architect), Desi Bourgeois (Heard Freighthouse Food Park owner), Dianne Bourgeois (Heard Freighthouse Food Park co-owner), Amy Stegall (City of Ruston), and Jerry Brasher (Lincoln Builders) break ground for the new Heard Freighthouse Food Park Monday in Ruston. Three new food trucks, a stage for live music and a new restaurant are expected to be included in the area where Grown and Grazed, Staple Sandwich Company and Bad Wolf BBQ are currently located in downtown Ruston on E. Railroad Avenue just off N. Vienna Street.
