Clinton L. Hammons

Funeral Services for Clinton L. Hammons will be held at First Baptist Church in Choudrant, on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. David Harrell and Rev. Gil Arthur. Interment will be held at Choudrant Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Ruston.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church in Choudrant, from 10-- 11 a.m.

Clinton L. Hammons was born June 26, 1938, and passed from this life on October 11, 2022, in Ruston. He was a Member and Deacon at First Baptist Church, Choudrant. Clinton retired from Lucent Technology after 40 years of service. He was also a Master in Woodworking.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Janice Hammons; his parents, Frank and Ocile Hammons; and an infant daughter, Becky.

Mr. Hammons is survived by his daughters, Debbie Barnes and husband Jimmy of Choudrant, Sandy Hogan and husband Mike of Choudrant, Sue Harrington and husband Gary of Bonita Springs, Forida; son, Donnie Hammons and wife Paula of Fouke, Arkansas.; brother, David Hammons and wife Raye of Choudrant; 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great- Grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Wanda Mitchell and husband Dwight of Ruston.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
