Jerry C. Rodrigues

A memorial graveside service for Jerry C. Rodrigues will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in Simsboro City Cemetery, Simsboro, at 10 a.m., officiated by Rev. Jason Cole, and under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Ruston.

Jerry was born on September 13, 1934, in Bastrop, to Gozy and Lorena Domino Rodrigues. He passed from this life on May 24, 2023, following a lengthy illness.

Jerry served his country in the United States Air Force, and later worked as a Construction Survey Engineer for T.L. James Construction, in Ruston. He was also a member of First Baptist Church of Simsboro.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gozy and Lorena Domino Rodrigues; and his brother, Gozy Mack Rodrigues, Jr.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 63 years, Alene Barmore Rodrigues; daughters, Lisa Cochran, Sharon Ledford and husband Jerry; grandchildren, Tiffany Wiltcher and husband Jerry, Dustin Cochran and Colton Cochran; great grandchildren, Gavin Allen and wife Heather, Baylee Doss, Rena Doss; sister, Willie Annette Lain and husband Gary; brother, Bart Rodrigues and wife Barbara; brotherin- law, Leon Barmore and wife Rachel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
