Mattie ‘Sis’ Reed Johnson

Mattie Reed Johnson, of Ruston, celebrated her 91st birthday on July 23. She transitioned to life ever after on July 25. Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 5, at Zion Traveler Baptist Church in Ruston.

Visitation Ceremony (wake) was held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 4, the at Zion Traveler Baptist Church.

Public viewing was held from 3-5 p.m. Friday at King’s Funeral Home.

Burial took place at George Washington Carver Memorial Park.
