Rock Bordelon, owner of Allegiance Health Management and Northern Louisiana Medical Center, is buying Ruston’s Green Clinic.

The long-rumored acquisition was announced Tuesday afternoon in a press release. Terms of the sale, which is set to close Oct. 4, were not disclosed.

AHM is the same company that manages NLMC.

“We are excited to bring the Green Clinic into the Allegiance family,” Bordelon, AHM’s president and CEO, said in the release. “This partnership represents our commitment to improving healthcare delivery in Ruston and surrounding areas. By joining forces, we are poised to enhance medical services and support the ongoing development of a new hospital in Ruston, which will significantly benefit the community for decades to come.”

Staff at both facilities have been notified of the acquisition.

Green Clinic Chief Executive and Financial Officer Lori Keen said the change will be seamless for both the clinic’s patients and employees. She said the clinic will keep its name.

“The Green Clinic has been a staple in our medical community for a very long time,” facility medical director Dr. Mike Nammour said. “We are excited to bring more than 75 years of collaborative, patient-centered healthcare into the Allegiance Health Management family, and we look forward to this new relationship and how it will make a positive impact for all of our patients.”

This venture will closely align Green Clinic with NLMC, creating what the release describes as “a more cohesive and comprehensive healthcare network in the region.”

“The alignment of two facilities is expected to streamline healthcare services, provide more robust support for patients, and further advance the quality of medical care in the region,” the release said. “This strategic move aligns with Allegiance Health Management’s mission to foster collaborative healthcare environments that prioritize patient well-being and community health.”

Both organizations said they will work closely to ensure a smooth transition and continue delivering care without interruption.

Green Clinic provides both primary and specialty care to patients of all ages, with a number of ancillary services provided in-house.

According to the press release, the combined resources and expertise of clinic and NLMC “will drive innovations in healthcare, support local health initiatives, and expand access to critical medical services.”

The Bossier City-based AHM bought NLMC in 2020.
