Tigers’ senior linebacker facing charge of second-degree battery
T. Scott Boatright
Grambling State University senior linebacker Cliff Exama will be on the field when the Tigers open preseason football practice on Thursday despite facing some offseason issues.
Exama, 22, turned himself in to the Grambling State University Police Department on July 21 after being advised he was being charged with second degree battery for an incident that occurred in April. GSU Interim Police Chief Freddie Peterson then transported Exama to the Lincoln Parish Detention Center. Exama was released on a $3,000 bond.
