Grambling women win, 62-48


GRAMBLING — Grambling State University’s women got off to the right start in Southwestern Athletic Conference action at the Fred Hobdy Assembly Center on Tuesday night.

The Lady Tigers (5-6) were a 62-48 winner over the Lady Hornets (3-7) in the first game of a doubleheader involving the two schools.

Grambling was led by the 16 points of guard Tonishea Mack, who was seven-of-10 from the field and one-of-four at the foul line.
