Seasonal changes affect how lawns look

When diagnosing a problem in a lawn several scenarios need to be considered.  A fact of plant problems that I try to teach is that only about 10 percent of plant problems are insect problems, 10 percent are disease problems, which leaves the final 80 percent of the problems to the environment. However, it is so much easier to make the diagnosis so an insecticide or a fungicide can be recommended.
