Grambling graduates benefit from ‘Bayou Classic’ internship


NEW ORLEANS — Three interns with the annual Bayou Classic have secured positions after they helped the Bayou Classic team with growth management and event operations of the Bayou Classic.

The interns include Guy-Bertrand Tamo, Rob Garland and Courtney Mackey.

Southern University management information systems graduate Tamo joined FHS Legacy Corporation, Garland joined the New Orleans Zephyrs and Mackey joined New Orleans Convention Companies, Inc., the management firm of the annual Bayou Classic.
The New Orleans Convention Companies, Inc. worked directly with both FHS Legacy Corporation and the Zephyrs in the placement of the two men at their positions. Tamo is now working at FHS Legacy Corporation as a software developer.
