Billy Ray Marshall had been in South Vietnam just more than five months when he died from hostile fire on Nov. 20, 1969 in Long An Province. Marshall was 23 years old.

Lonnie Bridges was 20 when he died on Feb. 8, 1969, in Long Khanh Province. He was less than a month into his tour of duty.

Billy Neal Johnston Jr. had been in South Vietnam less than four months when he was wounded by gunfire in Quang Ngai Province on May 21, 1970. The 22-year-old was declared dead several months later.

Jimmy Lee Howard was only 19 when he died on Oct. 20, 1968, in Thua Thien Province.
