Nothing ruins your day like getting a ticket.

So there I was, minding my own business, on my way to Ruston on Saturday morning to meet my new landlord when the car in front of me slowed down and pulled over for no apparent reason. I looked around to see what was going on. I checked the rearview. Blue lights.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but every time I see those blue lights all of my internal organs seem to jump up at once — all except my heart. My heart sinks. This can’t be good.

I pulled over too and a Lincoln Parish Sheriff’s deputy begins walking towards my window.
