Amanda Carol Davis, of Ruston, and Matthew Philip Robertson, of Ruston, joined in holy matrimony in a 2 p.m. ceremony June 7 at Temple Baptist Church officiated by Casey Williams, of Jackson, Mississippi.

A beaded belt cinched the waist. She completed the look with a chapel-length veil edged with rhinestones and a beaded tiara. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas and freesia with white and pale yellow roses. The handle of her bouquet was wrapped with lace from her mother’s wedding dress. Her paternal great grandmother’s pearls and her maternal grandmother’s handkerchief were tucked between the bouquet’s blooms.

Serving as maid of honor was Sara Collie, of Ruston, and serving as matron of honor was Jana Davis, of Ruston. Bridesmaids were Rachel Carson, of Shreveport, Caitlyn Hendricks, of Vidalia, Julie White, of Vidalia, and Kim Parker, of Maud, Texas.

The bridesmaids wore a marine, floor-length one-shoulder gown with an empire waist and ruched detailing around the bust. A sash flowed down the back from the left shoulder. They carried bouquets of yellow roses, gerbera daisies and calla lilies wrapped in navy and white striped ribbon.

Aaron Robertson, of Ruston, served as best man. The groomsmen were Michael Davis, of Ruston, Hollis Scriber, of Monticello, Arkansas, Scott Pumphrey, of Ruston, Daniel Cason, of Ruston, and Ryan Barker, of Baton Rouge.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center. Catering was provided by Thurman’s of Monroe.

Prior to the ceremony, a rehearsal dinner was held on June 6 at the Ruston Historic Fire Station hosted by the groom’s parents.
