Turnley: Letter will be sent to patients

Northern Louisiana Medical Center, one of the 206 hospitals under Community Health Systems, was part of a cyber-security breach occurring in April and June, said Elizabeth Turnley, director of marketing for the hospital.

“Yes, we were affected,” she said. “But it was not the hospital itself, but the employed physicians practices and clinics.”

Turnley said patients affected will receive a letter by Aug. 30. If a letter has not been received by that time, they should assume they were not affected.
