What kids are into these days as far as technology goes is literally mind-boggling. I’d like to think that I am a fairly technologically savvy person, but in the back of my mind I’m afraid that any fifth grader with a tablet could probably outwit me when it came to computer capability.

Aside from it being completely normal for kids as young as 5 to have smartphones, by the time they’re in middle school they normally have a tablet and a laptop, too. Especially with programs like New Tech@Ruston, it is a requirement to have these devices to complete classroom assignments.
