Most people have heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and for people who are at risk for diabetes that might just be the truth.

According to the International Diabetes Federation, investing in a healthy breakfast will reduce the global burden of diabetes and save billions of dollars in lost productivity and health care costs. Recent studies have revealed that eating a healthy breakfast decreases the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.
