Teague, Nesmith exchange vows

Aubri Teague, of Choudrant, and Chad Nesmith, of Bossier City, joined in holy matrimony in a 10:30 a.m. ceremony April 11 at Garvan Woodland Gardens at Anthony Chapel in Hot Springs, Arkansas. T. R. Webb officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Jeanne Teague, of Choudrant. She is the granddaughter of the late Betty Teague and Gary D. and Rebecca Teague and Peggy Ellerman and the late Floyd Ellerman.

The groom is the son of David and Linda Nesmith, of Bossier City. He is the grandson of the late John Bill and the late Peggy Nesmith and Ester Turner and the late Bill Turner.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore an ivory alencon lace ballgown with a chapel train, featuring a fitted wrapped, v-neck bodice. The back included a deep v and covered buttons, sweeping down to a scalloped lace hemline. In her hair, the bride wore a circlet of gold filigree adorned with pearls and crystals with trailing chiffon ribbon. She hand-tied her own bouquet of sunset roses, pink peonies, paperwhites and freesia.

Serving the bride as maid of honor was Alexandra Valiton, of Bayside, New York. The bridesmaid was Kori Teague, of Choudrant.

The bridesmaids each wore a leafy green dress of her own choosing and they also arranged their own bouquets of mixed spring flowers.

Clint Nesmith, of Monroe, served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Macaluso, of Lafayette, and Andrew Vowell, of Houma.

Ushers were Daniel Barnes and John Hodges, both of Ruston.

Music was provided by pianist Allan Mesko.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Garvan Pavillion.

Prior to the ceremony, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents on April 10 at a private home in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Several celebrations were held to honor the couple.

A miscellaneous shower was held on February 21 at Grace UMC. Hostesses were Deborah Lynch, Sue McFadden, Sherry Roberts, Peggy Jones, Maggie Salter, Pat Todd, Brenda Atkins, Laura McKinney, Kathy Slocum, Mary Shankles, Gladys Thompson, Cynthia Clark, Jennifer Patterson, Debbie Robichaux and Jamie Lamkin.

A lingerie shower and bachelorette party was held on March 20-21 in Dallas, Texas. It was hosted by Alexandra Valiton.

Another miscellaneous shower was held on May 5 at the Airline Church of Christ in Bossier City. Hostesses were Dianne Morton, Carol Coffel, Linda French, Alana Factor, Sue Kirkaby, Elaine Spivy, Kacie Hollis and Penny Burks.

A Bachelor party was held for the groom by Clint Nesmith on March 13-14 in Dallas, Texas.
After a honeymoon in the Pacific Northwest, the couple will make their home in Fort Worth, Texas.
