Jodi Albritton and Dustin Serpas, both of Ruston, joined in holy matrimony in a 7 p.m. ceremony June 20 at Ruston Country Club. Ed Colvin officiated the wedding.

The bride is the daughter of John and Jan Albritton, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of the late Gene and the late Raleigh Bennett and the late Henry and Peggy Albritton.
The groom is the son of the late Ken and Jan Serpas, of Ruston. He is the grandson of the late Jack and the late Gloria Serpas and Jean Smith and Marie Ivy.

The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her father, John Albritton. She wore an ivory, Alencon lace, empire waist, A-line Allure gown. It featured a deep v-neckline enhanced with scalloped lace and a deep v-back with a chapel length train. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of peach Juliet Garden roses, peach roses and spray roses, mixed with peach stock, Dusty Miller leaves and Queen Anne’s lace.

Serving the bride as maids of honor were Katie Clark, of Ruston, and Kadie Williams, of Choudrant. Bridesmaids were Morgan Fuller, of Ruston; Christy Letendre, of Ruston; Victoria Kamphuis, of Shreveport; and Samantha Roberts, of Bossier City. Haylee Hardwick, of Winnsboro, served as the flower girl.

The bridesmaids wore peach chiffon dresses from Bella Bridesmaids made by Donna Morgan. Their bouquets contained white hydrangea and ivory roses, mixed with peach garden roses, baby’s breath and Dusty Miller leaves.

Dustin Taylor, of Ruston, served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Ben Alsup, of Ruston; Lamar Haddox, of Ruston; Lucas Oakley, of Ruston; Lyle Rollinson, of Ruston; and Mark Taylor, of Ruston.

Ushers were Jeremy Albritton, of Ruston, and the groomsmen.

Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Ruston Country Club.

Prior to the ceremony, Jan Serpas hosted a rehearsal dinner at Beau Vines Steakhouse on June 19.

Before the wedding, several celebrations were held in honor of the couple.

A couples shower was held April 24 at the home of Tony and Gina Clark. It was hosted by Mike and Amy Boswell, Don and Dewanna Bennett, Gina and Tony Clark, Scott and Tammy Coates, Kevin and Jenny Crume, Madelon Davis, Ron and Joan Edinger, Robert and Donna Frasier, Liz Kavanaugh, Michael and Michelle Kolb, Chris and Catherine Letendre, Danny and Penny Morgan and Petey and Kate Perot.

On May 3, a bridal shower was held at First National Bank. Hostesses included Karey Harrel, Donna Hipp, Elaine Johnson, Jeanie McCartney, Kristen Telford and Karen Williams.

A tool shower was held on May 9 at the barn of Scott Thompson and Phillip Carroll. Hosts included Keith Braswell, Phillip Carroll, Dwain Elliot, Randy Graham, Drake Mills, Dan O’Neal, Ricky White and Scott Thompson.

On June 19, a bridal luncheon was held at Squire Creek Country Club. It was hosted by Gina Clark.

After a honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Ruston.
