Visitors to the Union Museum of History and Art are stepping back in time to about 12,000 B.C. when some of the earliest people to inhabit North America made their way to the land we now call home. “Tracing the Indians of Early Union Parish” is an exhibit featuring not only an array of prehistoric artifacts discovered in this parish, but also objects from Poverty Point. The exhibit, sponsored by CenturyLink, opened July 22 and will continue through Oct. 9. The museum is located in the Chamber building, 116 N. Main St., Farmerville. Hours are 10 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.
