School kicks into high gear in just a few short days and with all of the tiny people making their way into the world on education comes a host of other firsts.

This will be the first time many children are exposed to children of the same age. To help combat possible illnesses that could potentially threaten their young lives, the Center’s for Disease Control and Prevention have made multiple recommendations for parents.

Prior to beginning school, children are expected to have received the DTaP, IPV, MMR and Varicella vaccines.
