IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR DRINKING WATER
Monitoring Requirement not met by Hilly-Greenwood Water System, Inc.
We are required to monitor your drinking water for specific contaminants on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not your drinking water meets health standards.
During the reporting period of May 01, 2015 through May 31, 2015 the Hilly-Greenwood Water System, Inc. did not complete all monitoring or testing for coliform bacteria as set forth in the State and Federal Primary Drinking Water Regulations [Part XII of the Louisiana State Sanitary Code (LAC 51:XII)]. Therefore, the Hilly-Greenwood Water System, Inc. cannot be sure of the quality of your drinking water during that time.
This situation was due to:
Failure to collect required bacteriological samples for monitoring period May 01, 2015 through May 31, 2015 for the Hilly-Greenwood Water System, Inc. (note from HGWS: samples were collected; however, deemed insufficient)
