The Public Works Committee of the Lincoln Parish Police Jury met in the Police Jury Meeting Room, Third Floor, Lincoln Parish Courthouse, July 14, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. Present were: Randy Roberson, Chair; Hazel Hunter, Skip Russell, and Heather Walker.
ABSENT: Bobby Bennett and Nancy Wilson
Randy Roberson called the meeting to order and delivered the invocation.
Skip Russell offered a motion, seconded by Hazel Hunter, to approve the Agenda. The motion was voted upon and carried with the following votes:

First on the Agenda was to consider amending the Capital Improvement Program for 2015 adding sections of Norris, Emory, Bennett, Liberty Hill, Sunshine, McCullin, and King Louie Roads to the Road Recycle list with the option to leave them in gravel condition until next year before chipsealing. Administrator Courtney Hall explained that this would allow time for the increased truck traffic, associated with oil and gas activity in these areas, to subside. After discussion, Skip Russell offered a motion, seconded by Hazel Hunter, to recommend amending the Capital Improvement Program as outlined. The motion was voted upon and carried with the following votes:

Next on the Agenda, was to consider a request for assistance from the Village of Choudrant to repair potholes in areas specified. Skip Russell offered a motion, seconded by Hazel Hunter to approve the assistance contingent on Highway Department schedule. The motion was voted upon and carried with the following votes:
