Question: I have a mutual fund that I have owned for more than 10 years. I only have about 10 percent of my money in it. I really like the manager and his philosophy, but he’s been getting killed lately. I feel like he’s been out of sync with the times. How long do I wait before I dump him, or have already waited too long?

Answer: The problem with last year’s results is that they are so…last year.

When evaluating the results of anything that has already happened, you’ve to analyze not only what that happened, but why.
