Bring it on, Mother Nature. Lincoln Parish is ready.

Lincoln is now among 19 parishes statewide — only six of which are in North Louisiana — to be recognized by the National Weather Service as officially StormReady®.

That means the parish has a 24-hour warning system in place, an emergency operations center, more than one way to receive warnings and alert the public, a procedure to monitor the weather, a plan for what to do when bad weather hits and conducts practice drills to make sure that plan works.
