I don’t like holidays. They get in the way of progress. Things are going along real well, then slam to a halt for a turkey to cross the road, the Easter bunny to hop by or Santa to huff and puff down the chimney.

It isn’t that I mind an occasional day off from work. That means time to get caught up on other projects. It’s all the getting ready that’s the problem. Frustration at all the fuss must be an inherited trait. My grandmother was the same way.
