Maybe the Christmas holidays have colored my perspective, but I’ve never been much of a believer in negativity in sports.

It’s probably a Santa Claus kind of thing, but I always believe, especially when it comes to my teams like the New Orleans Saints.

I know there will be no celebrating in Saints Nation this year as the team will end with a losing record standing at 5-9 with only two game remaining.

Yes, the Saints are a bad team, but I don’t think they’re as bad as many pundits feel. And I don’t believe the key is to blow things up and start from scratch. Not yet anyway.
