Stephens, Neeles celebrate union

Christy Coyle Stephens, of Ruston, and William Spencer Neeles, of Ruston, were joined together in holy matrimony in a double-ring ceremony at 5 p.m. Feb. 27 at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church officiated by Judge Danny Tatum.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Sue Coyle, of Ruston; and the granddaughter of the late Jimmie Delony and Lodi Delony; and the late Clifton Coyle and Marie Coyle, of Monroe.

The groom is the son of Charlie and Wanda Neeles, of Ruston; and the grandson of Betty Pearl Williams and the late Lovie Williams, of Quitman, and Minnie Neeles and the late Lloyd Neeles, of Ruston.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless taffeta ball gown with lace beaded pearl detail and a full pickup skirt with chapel train. In her hair was an elegant bridal hair comb with crystals.

She carried a red rose wedding bouquet wrapped with ivory ribbon.

Brandi Smith, of Ruston, served a maid of honor; and Tara Neeles, of Bossier, served as bridesmaid.

They wore sleeveless ivory gowns with all over delicate lace, a satin sash and fully line skirts. They carried red rose bouquets.

The best man was Tyler Neeles, of Bossier, while Lance Kelpe, of Arcadia, served as groomsman.

Ushers were Clint Gleason, of Bossier, and Cole Thibault, of Ruston.

Bailey Stephens, of Ruston, served as flower girl.

Jackson Stephens, of Ruston, served as ring bearer.

Music provided by Bridgett Davis.

A reception was held at the historic fire station.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Feb. 26, hosted by the groom’s parents.

The couple were blessed with two showers including a miscellaneous shower held Feb. 7 by the ladies at Wesley Chapel Methodist Church, and a tool shower held Feb. 13, hosted by Tyler Neeles and Lance Kelpe.

After their honeymoon to Big Cedar Resort in Missouri, the couple will reside in Ruston.
