As March is Women’s History Month, I am contemplating the growth which has occurred in the lives of women, both worldwide and at a local level.

Certainly, it is evident that the rights, freedoms and roles of women have been enhanced in the past century.

As the presidential debates continue to hold us captive (and often aghast), we cannot fail to recall that women have not had the right to vote in this country for even one century yet.
