$20 bill to get a new facelift

Well, it happened.

History has been made and most people weren’t even aware it was in the works.

On Wednesday, the United States Treasury Department announced that anti-slavery campaigner Harriet Tubman is set to appear on the front of the $20 bill.

She will be the first woman to be the face of a bill of U.S. currency.

After a long, public and sometimes heated consultation period, the treasury announced the news to the world.
