Lincoln Parish residents impacted by the March storms have the opportunity to postpone their federal student loan payments with disaster forbearance.

According to mygreatlakes.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping student loan repayment possible in partnership with the United States Department of Education and private lenders, federal student loans allow a request to temporarily postpone student loan payments.
