Ballot includes Senate runoff, tax renewals

Early voting for the Dec. 10 general election begins Saturday in the registrar of voters office located on the ground floor of the Lincoln Parish Courthouse.

The balloting period ends Dec. 3. Voting hours are 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily except Sunday. Voters must bring photo ID.

On the ballot is U.S. Senate runoff election between Republican John Kennedy and Democrat Foster Campbell, as well as two parish-wide road tax renewals. Grambling voters will also decide whether to re-up a city water tax.

Registrar of Voters Dianna Stone said she’s hoping for a good early voter turnout.
