Friends of the North Louisiana Military Museum want to refurbish the tanks, cannons and other artifacts on the museum grounds, but they need the public’s help.

The group’s organized a Revive the Relics fundraising campaign that will include Family Day at the Museum events from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 22.

Admission is free and open to the public. The museum is located at 201 Memorial Drive.

Museum advocates are trying to raise $50,000 toward reconditioning at least nine of the 15 outdoor relics.
