Mallory Leigh Cox, of Ruston, and Collin Albert Ross, of Mandeville, were united in holy matrimony during a 6 p.m. ceremony yesterday at Temple Baptist Church.

The Rev. Matt Slate officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Cox, of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jack Cox, of Ruston; and the late Rev. Jesse and Lois Smith.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ross, of Mandeville. He is the grandson of Mrs. Suzannne Mahrenholz and the late Mr. William Mahrenholz, of Mandeville; and the late Mr. Hazen Ross, the late Mrs, Ernestine Fischer, and the late Mrs. Doris Ross.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore an exquisite bridal gown from Martina Liana featuring a high neckline with graphic alencon lace and heavy ivory beading adorning the bodice of the gown. The Bellagio crepe skirt of the gown had a simple silhouette curving for from the waistline that gracefully flowed to the grand train with lace-edge detailing. Beaded alcenon lace highlighted the stunning back of the gown as it extended in a graceful line from the top of the back bodice to the skirt, accented with crepe covered buttons from the neckline down to the apex of the train. The gown was complemented by an elegant ivory veil edged in satin that cascaded in two tiers to the top of her train. She carried a loosely tied bouquet of white and pale peach roses, Juliet Garden roses, white Enchantment lilies and Queen Anne’s lace. Dusty Miller leaves and seeded eucalyptus added contrast. The stems were tied with ivory satin ribbon.

Serving the bride as Maid of Honor was Bethany Cox, of Ruston. Bridesmaids were Brooke Gray, of Tyler, Texas; Ashley Ross, of Sarasota, Florida; and Stephani Holloway, of Covington. Jillian and Lilly Grace Turpin, of Ruston, served as flower girls.

The bridesmaids wore a full-length georgette dress featuring a v-neck accented with a soft drape ruffle around the front neckline extending to the deep v-back. Their dresses were accented with a matching tie belt adorned with crystal trim at the ends. Each bridesmaid carried a bouquet of white and pale peach roses, peach and white stock and white lisianthus. White wax flower, plumosa fern and seeded eucalyptus added texture.

Serving the groom as best man was Ryan Ross, of Shreveport. Groomsmen were David Bolyard, of Mandeville; Lane Cox, of Ruston; and Zach Walthall, of Choudrant.

Colson Gray, of Tyler, Texas, served as the ring bearer.

Shayla Blake, Karl Puljack, Lane Cox, Kaitlin Robinson and Chris Albritton provided music for the ceremony. Luke Holloway provided music for the reception.
Photography was provided by Kevin Beasley; and Matthew Ramsaur served as the videographer.
Scripture was read by Hope Anderson, of Monroe. Kimberly Sutton, of Ruston, and Breyanna Harriman, of Houston, served as candle lighters. Book attendants were Taylor Dixon, of Covington, Bethany Jones, of Slidell, and Kaylee Lewellyn, of Madisonville.

The reception following the ceremony took place at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center. The decorations for the church and the reception were provided by Gracie Mae’s, of Ruston, with catering by Linda Peevy, of Jonesboro. Social Bites, of Ruston, provided the bride’s cake and Erma Hudson, of Ruston, provided the groom’s cheesecake. At the reception, the guests were asked to provide memories for Mallory and Collin by highlighting verses in their bible, having pictures made in the photo booth provided by Bash Photo Booth, of Ruston, and signing the sails of a boat hand crafted by the groom and his father.
