Booth, Lepore celebrate wedding

Martha Claire Booth and Loren Spencer Lepore were united in holy matrimony during a 6 o’clock wedding on July 1, 2017 at Brown Chapel of Centenary College. The bride’s uncle, Reverend Jay Hogewood officiated the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Scott Booth and Kathryn James Booth, of Bossier City. She is the granddaughter of the late Ben James and Margaret Ann James, of Ruston; and Robert and Lucille Booth, of Shreveport. The groom is the son of Brad Lepore and Julie Smith, of Shreveport. He is the grandson of James Smith and the late Bettye Ann Maxwell Smith, of Choudrant; and the late Richard Lepore, and the late Parnell Larry of Marlborough, Massachusetts.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a white gown featuring a beaded bodice with a sweetheart neckline, a flowing A-line chiffon skirt, and a medium length train. She wore a cathedral length veil. Her bouquet was lavender roses and dark purple lisianthus, accented with blue thistles and baby’s breath. It was gathered at the stem by a piece of lace from her mother’s wedding gown. Serving the bride as Matrons of Honor were her sisters, Jessica Booth Rinaudo, of Shreveport, and Shannon Booth Furr, of Bossier City.

Bridesmaids were Anna Claire Pritchard, of Simsboro, Kirstie Killen, of Ruston, Madison Noble Grefenstette, of Houston, and Mary Longino Barton, of Shreveport. Serving as flower girls were the bride’s nieces, Sarah, Norah, and Vera Rinaudo. The bridesmaids wore deep purple chiffon floor length gowns accented by sequined sweetheart neckline bodices. They carried bouquets of baby’s breath.

Serving the groom as best man was his brother Colin Lepore, of Shreveport. Groomsmen were Creighton Butler, Nathan Hooper, Thomas Ratcliff, Zak Strezo, and Will Willcox, all of Shreveport.

Serving as ring bearers were the bride’s nephews, Jacob and Landon Furr, and Luke Rinaudo.

Music was provided by Dr. Hollice Watson, organist, of Shreveport. A duet of “I See the Light” from Disney’s “Tangled” was sung by Grace Coyer and Calvin Davis.

Serving as ushers were Calvin Davis, Benjamin Leblanc, Jesse James, Logan Smith, Matthew Ferrell, and Max Beilke.

Serving as scripture readers for the ceremony were Benjamin Leblanc, Rachel Smith, Jesse James, and Aurélia Pradel.

The reception following the ceremony took place at Savoie’s: The Catering Place in Shreveport. Prior to the ceremony, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner on Friday evening at Nicky’s Mexican Restaurant Downtown.

After their honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple will make their home in Bossier City.
