NCLAC celebrates 30 years

In 1987, a small group of artists and arts-enthusiasts came together with the goal of developing a regional arts center and a gallery where local artists could display and sell their work.

This year, the North Central Louisiana Arts Council turns 30 and has grown in both projects and support.

Humble beginnings

“Susan (Roach) will write the grant and we will get started.” That was one of the first statements made by Kent Follette, first president of NCLAC.
