Nungesser wants to pull state museums together

Louisiana Lt. Gov. Bill Nungesser said Friday at the Eddie G. Robinson Museum that he hopes to eventually see all state museums be put under the guidance umbrella of his current office.

GRAMBLING — Louisiana Lt. Gov. Bill Nungesser made a stop at the Eddie G. Robinson Museum Thursday afternoon and spoke of his hopes of increasing state museum funding.
That could be the making for a brighter future for the Eddie Robinson Museum.

Nungesser said one of his focuses will be trying to help get a legislative bill introduced in 2019 that would pull all state museums under the umbrella of the Lt. Governor’s office as opposed to having them split with the Secretary of State’s office as they currently are.
