Couple celebrates 65 years

Bill Davis and Faye Davis, of Ruston, recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at their home with a barbecue dinner attended by their children and grandchildren.

The couple four children Joe Davis (Barbara), of Franklin, Tennessee; Karen Barton (Dick), of Skiatook, Oklahoma; Tommy Davis (Gayla), of Clinton, Mississippi; and Sheila Pierce (Sam), of Ruston.

They have eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The couple was married July 2, 1953.
