Cougars set to kick off playoffs

Cedar Creek offensive coordinator Charles Scott hopes his team can capitalize on finding a rhythm early as the Cougars go on the road to face Vermilion Catholic at Rebel Stadium in Lafayette in Div. IV playoff action starting at 7 p.m. in Abbeville.

Fourteenth seed Cedar Creek (4-6) enters the contest following a tough 33-12 loss to Oak Grove in its regular-season finale.
