I remember years ago as a young teen I attended a business meeting at my home church in Lake Charles. The exact details are a little fuzzy because I interpreted things differently as a child, but somehow the prospect of a new trailer park opening up close behind our church became the topic of discussion.

You’d think the opportunity for a brand new mission field practically in our backyard would have excited the church members, but overall I remember a sense of apprehension and worry.
