Lincoln Prep falls in first Willis Reed Invitational

The Ruston High School Bearcats clicked in all phases of the game Friday night as they defeated Pineville 64-57 in District 2-5A at the RHS Boys Gym.

Joshua Dean propelled Ruston to a strong start with five 3-pointers, all coming in the first half.

Dean finished with a team-best 17 points.

While Dean was lighting things up from the perimeter, the Bearcats also dominated in the paint with Ray Parker and Rollin Belton.

Parker finished with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocked shots while Belton totaled 10 points, 12 rebounds and seven blocked shots.
