Students, parents prep for school start

“Prep days” in Lincoln Parish public schools began Thursday and continue through today in advance of the first day of classes for many students on Wednesday. Pictured is a line of students and parents outside of Ruston High School Friday afternoon, awaiting their turn to meet teachers, receive technology devices and fill out paperwork. Most elementary grades will begin class on Wednesday, as well as the “A” group of in-person students in grades seven through 12.
