Funeral services for Pauline Parks Gray, age 87, will be held at Life Church/South Parkway Monday March 11, 2019 at 2:00pm. Officiating the service will be Pastors Chris Witt, Dallas Witt, and Dean Walsworth. Interment will follow at Kilpatrick's Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Sunday, March 10 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
Pauline Parks Gray was born in Winnsboro, LA, February 13, 1932 and passed away on March 6, 2019. She was a retired business owner and merchant for more than 50 years in Ruston, LA
She is preceded in death by her first husband of 62 years, Jack Parks and her brother Dan Wiggins and sister-in-law Lois Calhoun.
She is survived by her husband of 7 years Jack A. Gray originally from Siloam Springs, AR; son Randy Parks and wife Dorothy; daughter Elizabeth(Tootsie) Oliver and husband David all from Ruston. Sisters Sue Walsworth (Dean) of Baton Rouge, LA and Mary Ruth Leggett of Clinton, MS. Grandsons: Josh Otwell (Jessica) of Ruston, LA; James Otwell (Noelle) of Mansfield, LA; Mark Otwell of Ruston, LA; Christopher Parks (Annalisa) of Italy; Jason Parks of Lafayette, LA; Nathan Parks of Ruston; and Nick Parks of Ruston. Great Grandchildren are: Riayn Roberson, Emily Otwell, Zack Otwell, Lyric Otwell, and Arayah“Sunshine” Eiskina; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Pauline was very fond of her step children, all from Siloam Springs, AR. They are Paula (Bob) Maples, Mike (Linda) Gray, Randy (Melanie) Gray, and Donald (Sandra) Gray. She loved their little ones as well.
Special Daughter Randy Gwilt of Ruston and Special Granddaughter Emily Edwards-Johnson of Oklahoma City.
Pallbearers will be her Grandsons.
Honorary Pallbearers are the many ladies that participated in her Quilt Classes over the years.
The family would like to give special thanks to Jessica Otwell of Ruston for her tireless acts of kindness showed to all of the family during this time, Shalaine Warren of Ruston who cared for her and was a close friend, and Jean Kennedy of Rayville who tirelessly traveled with her to meetings and seminars.
The family would also like to thank Dr. Grigsby, Dr. Langiulli, and Dr. George Smith, Stat Home Health and Princeton Place Retirement Facility and all the staff at Willis Knighten and Northern Louisiana Medical Center.
