Boys prep hoops playoff pairing set

Lincoln Parish boys high school basketball teams received their marching orders on Monday and are now preparing to open the Louisiana High School Athletic Association playoffs on Friday.
Simsboro, the defending Class B runner-up, is the highest seed in the parish and has a first-round bye before playing a second-round game on March 2.
Ruston is seeded 19th in Class 5A and will play at No. 14 East St. John on Friday night.
Cedar Creek is the 16th seed in Division IV and will play at No. 1 Crescent City on Friday.
In Class 1A Lincoln Prep is seeded 19th and will play at No. 14 East Iberville.
Choudrant is the No. 14 seed in Class B and will also open the playoffs at home, playing host to No. 19 Converse on Friday night.
