Demo day held for proposed skatepark

Around 40 skaters flocked to a Skate Demo Day at the Historic Fire Station Saturday held by the Skatepark of Ruston organization. The demo day was the first of several planned events to fundraise and bring awareness to the proposed skatepark in the works to be constructed on East Georgia Avenue at the site of the former municipal pool.
